Zout, Zout, Damned Spot!
I've always been a fan of Zout laundry stain remover. I couldn't find my familiar purple spray bottle in stores for months and months. I've been very grouchy using Shout gel that doesn't cut it, and I've had to throw away several stained items. Well, Zout is back, and better than ever! The NEW FORMULA of Zout is in a red spray bottle. This week I've been removing set-in stains I didn't think would be possible. Bring on the baby formula spit up! I'm armed and ready with my new and improved weapon of choice. Zout, Zout, damned spot!

ReplyDeleteIf you can locate LESTOIL,get some!! It is awesome for so many stains that not even shout or zout could even touch!
Also get some 20 mule borax, as that mixed into your laundry really helps with baby stains. Then if I can find the "recipe" i will send it to you, but there is a wonder mix of 20 mule borax and the blue clorax granules (I think it is clorox with bleach for colors) and something else and it works wonders on those yellow baby barf stains.
Hope this helps. But please TRUST me on the Lestoil!! Though it is hard to find. The only place around here that sells it is one Ace Hardware.

ReplyDeleteMy cleaning tip to share is BIOKLEEN. It is the best stuff EVER on the FACE of the PLANET to get out carpet stains, and it's 100% natural, and lightly scented with real lime!!! Did I mention that it gets out stains that nothing else will??? I got mine in the organic section of our grocery store.

HUGE Zout fan- HUGE! And with five kids and mountains of BOY laundry, I know my stain removers. I also like Simple Green consentrate.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing, when I did Maya's first load of laundry I cried, then I took a picture of the load in the dryer and I think I even saved the pink dryer lint... yes it was a life moment for me to have pink in my dryer after four boys. Dave thought I had surely lost it when he found me blubbering over pink lint!! Her laundry still makes me all giddy.
