Hi. I'm Sarah. He's Kevin. The little ones are Hannah and Hudson. We're a family, blessed with our children via international adoption. Hannah Claire and Hudson Ray were lovingly cared for in Taiwan, placed into our arms on 12.29.08 and 6.13.12, and things haven't been quite the same since. Hallelujah!
"By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown
We have a Canon EOS 7D. The lenses I work with include a 24-70mm f/2.8L, 85mm f/1.8, and 50mm f/1.8.
There's more to come next week for the nursery, but the kitchen and great room are finished. I'm so happy with the way this turned out. Things will be so easy to clean when baby learns to throw food from the high chair.
First of all, little Miss Sedona is very photogenic! Secondly, the floors are lovely. And Kevin did a fine job dusting the chickens. (That cracked me up!)
That looks great. You guys did that yourself? When we move come over and do our floors! We have parquet wood here (rental apt) and I thought I wouldn't like it, but wood seems a bit easier to take care of.
Oh no, we hired it done! Earlier this year we tried to tile the masterbath ourselves and ended up having to hire someone to finish it. Flooring is so hard to line up straight, make perfect cuts, etc. If there was a room that was a perfect rectangle, no closet, no cabinets, to go around... I think we could do it. This job... no way. I'll paint the nursery myself though. Decorative paint effects and wallpaper borders I can do!
Sarah - floors looke awesome! I love the look of wood floors it makes all the rooms look bigger huh? Well you are certainly getting ready for miss hannah - hope Sedona's cell phone starts ringing here soon :)
