lake life

Untitled

We had a wonderful weekend with my extended family at the lake.
Most of the family spent it relaxing in lawn chairs and on pontoon boat rides.
I spent it preventing Hudson from running off the edge of the sea wall
into the lake, sticking his fingers into fans, running up the hill into the road,
and from snatching food from other people's plates.
Tonight I chased him through a restaurant as he happily ran into the bar area,
all the while making happy shouting noises as he thinks it is a great game.
Ha ha, funny kid.

I had forgotten how hard it is to pack for little ones.
Diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, high chair, pacifier, lovey blankets, and more.
No toys needed at the lake house.
Sand, buckets, sea weed, and second cousins already provided.

Hudson has cautious at first, but grew to really love the sand.

Hudson was happy that there was plenty of food.  All of the time.
Hudson Ray and Great Grandpa Ray enjoyed watermelon together.

Corn on the cob was a bit hit.

I think we'll have to come back soon.
