Yes, she did.

Kevin and Hannah came to work yesterday to show me THIS. Yes, she did. And with a SHARPIE! Had to black out the background setting, but the penmanship is all hers. Hannah's been getting into my desk drawers when I'm not home. Usually she just gets out my stickers and sticks them all over herself, her laundry basket, or the dog. This is a new level of destruction. Tonight we found the keys to my desk that have never been used to lock drawers before... NOW.

Oh, yeah. She's in her swimsuit on her way to swim lessons. Some of the other parents of toddlers had a little giggle, too.

Anyone have tricks on how to get Sharpie off skin?

  1. A long soak in the tub or you could use alcohol. Yea....another right of passage for you AND Hannah.

  2. Hahahahahhhaaahhhh!
    I love Miss Hannah!
I'd try a good rub down with Aqua Four or vaseline maybe? Not sure if it will work for a sharpie or not, but it works for other markers...
Funny how fast they can disappear and be out of sight before you know it! Let Kevin know it's happened to the best of us!

  3. Sunscreen. I have no idea why... but sunscreen takes sharpie off of anything!

  4. *grin* Well at least there is never a dull moment, right?? :) How could those legs even get any cuter??

Ok, if the alcohol doesn't work, try nail polish remover in the tub!!

  5. what cute little legs :-)
aren't we always in for surprises with our little ones?? it will come off eventually. our caeden painted himself with weather resistant green wood paint - he stayed green for several weeks, lol. it all will come off sooner or later.

  6. Hee hee... been there, done that!

Lotion and bubble baths and lots of good old fashioned time.

My son took a black magic marker to his ... ahem.... groin (?) when he was 18 months old. We had lots of explaining to do to grandparents and caregivers. Phew! But it eventually came off!

  7. LOL :) That is so cute! Just think she is creative! :) Not sure how to get it out, would love to hear what works when you are done just in case! lol

  8. Oh Hannah! My cousin "painted" my whole face "like an indian" (hey, it was the 80s) when we were younger...with sharpies. Yikes. Good to read about the sunscreen trick!

  9. I second the sunscreen comment. Heh. Yep, that's a Tongginator moment if I've ever seen one. Heh heh.

  10. For whatever reason, I can't see other comments- maybe someon already suggested this?- rubbing alcohol!

I haven't stopped by in a long time. Such a cutie! I'll have to post pictures and write in my blog sometime- Dorothy wore the dress you gave her for the first time on Easter! Sooooo cute!!!!
