prayers for southern Taiwan
I search the internet for news on Typhoon Morakot and a little agricultural village in southern Taiwan. I wonder how they weathered the storm. I wonder if they have drinking water, power, and safe housing. I worry about what crop damage does to the local economy. I pray, and I cry a little bit too.

I'm right there with you. Wondering if Jake's FF is okay. So sad.
ReplyDeleteI tried to post a comment, but don't think it worked. Yes, I am praying too! Was so sad to see the news last night. Gracyn's foster family resides in Pingtung county, and an area that was evacuated.
ReplyDeleteI so remember how we felt when SEVERE snowstorms hit our daughter's first home last winter. I am so sorry for this devastation and join you in your prayers.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sure adding my thoughts & prayers to the gracious people of Taiwan too. We feel like we left a piece of our hearts in Taiwan(or certainly carry it with us) and are deeply concerned as well.
ReplyDeleteHugs coming your way! Lisa
