prayers for southern Taiwan

I search the internet for news on Typhoon Morakot and a little agricultural village in southern Taiwan. I wonder how they weathered the storm. I wonder if they have drinking water, power, and safe housing. I worry about what crop damage does to the local economy. I pray, and I cry a little bit too.

    I tried to post a comment, but don't think it worked. Yes, I am praying too! Was so sad to see the news last night. Gracyn's foster family resides in Pingtung county, and an area that was evacuated.

    I so remember how we felt when SEVERE snowstorms hit our daughter's first home last winter. I am so sorry for this devastation and join you in your prayers.

    Oh, I'm sure adding my thoughts & prayers to the gracious people of Taiwan too. We feel like we left a piece of our hearts in Taiwan(or certainly carry it with us) and are deeply concerned as well.
