I'll be working and going to parties this weekend and won't have time to be posting... but I wanted to wish my friends and blog readers in the US a Happy Independence Day.
Hannah took four steps today. We're so proud! Miss Independent is betting to be such a big girl!
Happy 4th to you! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day to your family, as well. Wow... 4 steps! Go lace up your running shoes. It won't be long before you're chasing her all over God's creation.
ReplyDeleteHappy Fourth to you too!! Big girl, Hannah!! You go, girl :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Fourth to your little Miss Independent! Enjoy the holiday weekend... and chasing after your new walker.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th!
ReplyDeleteTHat picture is just adorable. You can tell how proud she is of herself!
Too cute!! What kind of shoes does she have on? (Maybe a closeup??!)
ReplyDeleteHannah's wearing Victoria Black/Silver Pedipeds. Used from Ebay at half price! She's growing out of 6-12 month Pedipeds and moving into 12-18 months. Yay for growing little feet! But... the tank top my little quirt has on today is 3-6 months.
ReplyDeleteOh! Here's a link for the shoes so you can see what they look like. I think they're pretty rock in roll! http://www.pediped.com/Product/ProductInfo.aspx?id=131
ReplyDeleteCute shoes! Thanks for the link --but they don't match perfectly!! What's up with that? ;)
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteHAppy 4th!

Anon, Stacy London and Clinton Kelly would tell us that black and silver are neutrals and they're not supposed to match. :P
ReplyDeleteYour photos are always so great. Do you take tons of pictures and pick the best or are you just good? I am always impressed.
ReplyDeleteI love following your journey. We have been waiting 20 months now with St. Lucys JOH pogram.

Victoria, Thanks! That's so sweet. I take tons of photos when we do a little session. Like tonight for the "American Girl" series... I took about 80 photos only posted 7 of them.... and only posted them after adjusting the white balance, boosting the color, cropping, sharpening the eyes, and making them a little softer. I would say that the most important thing is to take lots and put the focus point on the eyes. Sometimes having a "rapid fire" feature is really helpful to just let the camera click click click click rapidly over 20 seconds or so. Toddlers move so fast! Hannah RARELY looks at the camera, so I think of it as a blessing if I ever get a shot where she's looking right at me and I can see my reflection in her eyes.
