Hannah's thoughts if she could talk:
My mama turned a year older today. I like ice cream on a spoon or on a stick. Mama looks in the mirror a lot with a frown on her face pointing at the gray hairs. She says that waiting for me was hard on her hair. I like to wave at myself in the mirror. It's almost as fun as waving at my dog. We had a little party for my mama last night and my grandpa fed me ice cream and it was good. My dog got to come to the party. She likes ice cream, too. I want to eat ice cream or cottage cheese for every meal from now on. It's much better than the stuff my mama and baba try to feed me on a spoon. Bye bye.
Hannah Claire: please tell your Mama happy birthday for us and remind her that those grey hairs are reminders of a battle well-fought and won.
ReplyDelete~*~*~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~*~*~
ReplyDeleteHi Cutie! Give your Mama big birthday hugs from all of us blogging gals! :) AND do tell her that every grey hair tells a unique story of its own! (AND they can be blended right away with just a bit help! ) LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!!

Hey Hannah,
ReplyDeleteIt's me Allie! What cha doin? wanna come over and eat some ice cream together? We could eat ice cream and watch our Mama's count their grey hairs and listen to them share funny stories about us while we count their wrinkles! We could throw cottage cheese at my kitty cat and then watch him clean it off. That is SO funny, let me tell ya! That's when my moms forhead turns into one big huge wrinkle and thats pretty funny too! Tell your Mom that my Mom says "hello" and "Happy Birthday"!
Hugs,
Allie
ps. What color of squeakys did your Daddy order for you? I can't wait to see them!
Happy Birthday Mama! Grays or no grays you look fab! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Hannah's Mama!!!
ReplyDeleteAlways room for ice cream! Especially after I find a few more grey! :-)
Happy Birthday! My birthday was yesterday and I found myself playing a little game in the mirror before dinner last night I like to call Blond? or Gray? Just shows our wisdom, right? =)
ReplyDeleteShe is so pretty. Happy Birthday to you!
ReplyDeleteHannah, do tell Mommy that we wish her a very Happy Birthday! We know it's the best yet, because you're home to celebrate. And my mommy, she suffers from the same gray hair complex. I suppose if I stop having so many fits, she could actually find time to color her hair - wish we lived closer, so I could invite you over for ice cream! It's my favorite too! Hugs, Gracyn and Mommy
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! What a beautiful photo of such a beautiful girl - she really resembles her mama in this photo! Blessings, Wendy
ReplyDeleteI think the adoption/grey hair connection is TOTALLY true! I just turned 30 and have had a few popping up in the past 6 months. Neither of my parents or grandparents have had early greys. Yet, I know the past 6 months were the most stressful I've ever encountered. *Sigh* Maybe they'll *stop* now that my stress over finding our girl and preparing her dossier is over? C'mon! A girl can dream!
