Today marks five months since we received the Halleujah!!!! e-mail that contained the referral of this sweet girl to our family. Still no news on court. I'm assuming we've been in court two and a half months now, so that's about the average amount of time from log in to first decree.

ReplyDelete5 months - it could literally be ANY day now. WOW. For us, the post-referral wait was the longest. Very very soon you'll forget this wait as you're holding that precious little Hannah in your arms.
ReplyDelete5 months! I know it seems like a lifetime! Hang on though! I was in Target this weekend with my SIL buying stuff for the 3day and saw the baby aisle...and sauntered on over to see the "Hannah" carseat! It IS beautiful and she will be adorable (and so, so safe!) in it!

It goes by so fast. Just wait, you will look back at this little baby you once had and she will be this totally new being in front of you.
ReplyDeletePraying for good news soon- I remember every little ache I felt while we were waiting and how I would lay awake at night wondering what she was doing and who was taking care of her- It is so hard. ReplyDeleteMaybe you remember me, I am Annika from Sweden and we had some conversation last year. When I see that you finally have got your wonderful litte Hannah Claire I feel so happy for you. She is such a sweetie!
We got our daughter Julia from Chung Yi last year, the referral was in May and the gotcha day in November. It was so hard to wait, and we almost got any photos or information during that time. But suddenly they called and we could come and get our little daughter, then 10 months old (3.5 at referral). Our little Julia was born premature week 34, she has always been very small but very healthy. I really hope that you can can make the travel of your life very soon. I will think of you.
