Hi. I'm Sarah. He's Kevin. The little ones are Hannah and Hudson. We're a family, blessed with our children via international adoption. Hannah Claire and Hudson Ray were lovingly cared for in Taiwan, placed into our arms on 12.29.08 and 6.13.12, and things haven't been quite the same since. Hallelujah!
"By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown
We have a Canon EOS 7D. The lenses I work with include a 24-70mm f/2.8L, 85mm f/1.8, and 50mm f/1.8.
I know this is harder than you ever imagined. I don't want you to hit the twelve month mark, either. In fact, each time my Bloglines says you've updated, I wonder if it will be the day you announce a referral. You do know, though, that she will be completely worth waiting for. Hannah Claire is going to be one of the best things you'll ever have happen in your life.
On a completely different note, your hand is beautifully smooth and that ring is gorgeous! :-)
Sarah I don't think I can stomach the 12 month mark either!!!! I know this has been a crazy ride - we love ya to pieces and cannot wait to spoil miss hannah claire (watch out gymboree!!!!!) thinking of you - - maybe this calls for some more retail therapy? hang in there! Tiffany
I'm going to go out on a limb and say your 12 month mark will be spent staring at pics of your baby girl. At this point, a little optimism is hard to come by, right? You have so many people on your side and waiting to scream from the rooftops when you get the news.
I agree with Tisra in that you do have beautiful hands and that ring is spectacular! I also predict that you will have a baby Hannah referral before Valentine's Day! I wonder when she was born? She must be in the nursery at St Lucy's now! Vonne Barnett

Blech! Here's hoping you don't reach the 12-month mark.

ReplyDeleteOh I bet that she will be Sarah's playmate! It will be any day now! And I love that ring too!
ReplyDeleteRetail therapy tip: Ring was around $4 at Pier 1 in December. I love it, but it turned my finger green!
