sleepy

Hi from the Detroit airport. We're nearly home. We're exhausted. Babygirl hasn't had anything but bottles and rice crackers to eat today, but we just don't have the energy or patience to deal with rice cereal or the mess of baby food right now. The pressure didn't bother her ears at all. She slept like a champ during several take offs and landings. There were a few meltdowns. She wants to get out and play and see everything, but isn't allowed to.

My mom and dad are arguing (joke) over who gets to hold her first like my sister and I used to argue over who gets to hold the cat first when we'd get home from a long car ride.

  2. You're nearly there! Home sweet home! Left a family of two and came home a family of three. Each time we came home from the hospital with our new little family member, it was just magical- the exhaustion mixed with elation, the thrilled family, all the celebratory phone calls retelling the glorious stories of welcoming the baby into this world... love it! I will smile sweetly all weekend about you guys getting those types of moments, finally! And, of course, continued prayers for HC's adjustment and attachment to you. The Lord will provide!
