grouchy: need retail therapy

Yes, I've been quiet here. I apologise to the people around me in real life that read this blog. I'm grouchy and get emotional very easily right now. I've raised my voice with people at work too. The girls at work and my husband all need medals for putting up with me and my ever changing mood swings. Working nearly 60 hours this week out of necessity to cover a coworker's vacation doesn't help either.

I bought a pink tote and some perfume for a little retail therapy to perk myself up. It is from an Asian retro line titled "Miso Pretty." Cute stuff!

  3. Maybe it is like this... you are nearing the end of the baby wait... it is like a pregnancy... you are at the stage now where you are uncomfortable, your hormones are a mess, your feet and back hurt, you are having trouble sleeping. But - it means that your baby is coming SOON!!

I can't wait to log on here and see the photo of your little one. It will happen. Keep your chin up and know that someday (soon!) you will be looking back on all of this.

Alice (who is a terrible hypocrite and lousy at waiting herself!!)

  4. How is it that I've never heard of Miso Pretty & why is it that you worked 60 hrs this week?! I will need to send you a PM on my other addiction (you know besides retail therapy) its Spa Therapy & I think you need it after your week of just working! Of course I cant talk... I worked like a loon this week too:)

Now come on Sarah's phone & RING darn it!

  5. We love you Sarah. Here's some verses from Isaiah 40 for encouragement.

"He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might, He increases power. Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not get tired; they will walk and not become weary."

Prayers, lots of hugs & fervent wishes for a baby referral maybe even this week!!!
