Got Shots?

Yeah, we never have any of our own adoption news. I'm just always happy for other people with good news. I know. I'd like some too. How about this? Kevin and I got our last shots today in our series of Hepatitis A and B vaccinations. With our immune systems building up a defense against Hepatitis and little Cipro on hand just in case, we're ready to taste test street vendor foods with no worries. I think there's some stinky tofu somewhere out there fermenting just for me.

  1. Sarah, you will definitely have your choice of taste-testing the street vendor foods. Abbey and I didn't so much. But you are the only person daring enough to get excited over the prospect of stinky tofu.

  4. We didn't find any of the stinky tofu, but we did get some french fries and fried corn on the cob (sounds weird, but it was good) from a street vendor near Snake Alley. We didn't have any problems with illness--from the travel books I read, it's supposed to be pretty safe to eat from the stalls in Taipei.

  5. Sarah, honey, you can have MY share of stinky tofu too! I'm willingly donating my portion to you while you're in Taiwan. Yep, I'm a giver.
