And... speaking of life-changing events, today was gotcha day for little Miranda and her family. Happy, happy day!
And... don't buy this book: Losing Plum Blossom. It's horrible. I had to stop after chapter one. I'm throwing it in the trash, seriously. I really don't want to read a huge novel about a woman from Indiana living in Taipei lusting over a gay physician.
Until then... stay tuned to this channel for more episodes of retail therapy, designer baby burp cloth construction, Chinese cooking, and an endless supply of cutie Sedona babydog pictures. Just don't expect a referral anytime soon. We'll be suprised together when the big day happens. Right, Sedona? What was that? Oh, you want to play fetch with your doggie phone? Okay, gotta go.
I bought these Gymboree pants from the sunflower fields line on eBay gently used. I got as excited about these pants as Sedona does for doggy treats! The paper lanterns pattern onesie and baby blanket packages arrived today too. They are lovely, and make me want to go out and buy some Dreft.
Hey ya got some info out of the agency. Thats good... not probably what you wanted to hear but its something! Hang in there & Kobi & I are taking a big sigh with you...
ReplyDeleteHey anytime the agency is contacting you & their NOT saying "We are closing" is a good thing:) Trust ME! LOL!
You can stop jumping each time the phone rings (maybe your stress level can back down?) but I'm sorry that your hopes of a referral this month look slim. No girls since May? Yikes. I know there is some chance that people will switch to the "either" group or "boy" group but not likely, I guess. I know I won't be switching lists, regardless of wait, because this is our last child (although, we've said that twice now!).

Thanks for stopping by our blog and for the great medicine advice! We did try some sort of flavor addition thing - not sure if it was exactly what you were talking about. He seemed to have just been in a funk about medicine in general. :) That's a great idea about the white grape juice - I did not know that!
ReplyDeleteBest to you in your continued adoption journey. Hannah Claire is an adorable name! I hope you don't have to wait too much longer! We have been so blessed by adoption and are always thrilled to know others that are called to the same journey.
You have a really great attitude...hang in there and we're all rooting for you!
